There isn't a published national price that settles what a local clinic should charge. Clinics also don't make every PRP shot the same way. One price may cover the exam, treatment, ultrasound guidance, and a later check, while another clinic may bill each part on its own before you ever see the full amount. The written price needs to cover every visit the clinic expects you to make. It should separate the exam, treatment day, ultrasound guidance, and later checks. Ultrasound doesn't place PRP; it helps the provider see the needle while giving the shot. That's worth knowing. Ask exactly how many visits are planned and why that number fits your exam. Find out whether care stops when the first treatment brings no relief. More visits shouldn't appear one bill at a time without your agreement. Know the total before starting. ## How do you decide whether the cost is sensible? Compare the total cost with the trouble soreness causes during your day.
